I already have one that I got from the local apple store ($19) to use with my iPod for watching movies on tv via rca.
Ya know? And yes, it does require separate audio connection. Does anyone know if the same plug (male to male) will connect and work with my mbp's dvi port? I'd love to hear someone say they've used the same setup/connections and it's worked before I go and buy the DVI-D dual link male to male cable. So, yes there are Sony tvs with DVI input, just not very many. Didn't do me any good because my Sony Trinitron Wega only has dvi input. My mbp came with a dvi to vga plug, but I'm not sure about the newest versions what they come with. Either way if you have the 15 pin on your tv, then you need a (mini)dvi to vga plug. I have the earlier 2008 mbpro with a regular size dvi port, but I understand the newest macbooks have mini-dvi.
