Now open up hammer and add your texture to your map.if not you forgot to checkmark the Auto Create VMT file. Now this is just to check your self go back to that folder where you saved it with your explorer.exe (just go to my documents or browse your hard drive and go to that directory) and check to make sure there are 2 files.Go inside that folder you just created and name the.Now create a custom folder name it anything you like I shall name my the same as my map.and browse to this directory "X:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials" Click Options and make sure there is a check mark by Auto Create VMT file.
